To Open a WFS in QGIS

  1. In the browser window, right click on WFS / OGC – API Features and select New Connection:

2. In the window that opens, give the connection a name and enter the APGB WFS URL – either the one ending with ApgbImagery.wfsx which will display index layers of the various aerial photography layers or the one ending in ApgbContour.wfsx which will display the APGB Contour data:

3. The new WFS connection will appear in the browser window, select it, right click and choose ADD Layer to project, and the contour data will appear as a layer in QGIS.

Please note that as the contour dataset is a very dense vector dataset it is recommended to be zoomed in to the project             area as most workstations would struggle to render the contour data if very zoomed out.
